Hello reader,
Due to time constraints this week, I have decided to prioritize what little time I had and have toward editing Against the Rocks and writing Bastion of Shade. I must also push the release date of Against the Rocks back to early December. I’m sorry for having to do it, but I would not want to rush anything and overlook the details. Given my current circumstance and limited time, December will still be an ambitious launch goal for me.
Against the Rocks is in the final stages of a developmental edit. Fiona, my editor, will roll right into a copy edit when she’s transcribed her notes from her hard copy to our shared digital copy. Once we have both gone through all the new revisions and tweaked the necessary tweaks, I’ll send the book to a proofreader to catch any small details our weary eyes might have missed. From there, I just need to format and upload the manuscript, attach the beautiful cover my brother created and order a proof copy to make sure everything looks good in print.
I have begun work on Bastion of Shade, book 3 in The Forgotten Ways trilogy. I’m only four chapters in, but I can tell it will be my best work yet. I already can’t wait to share it with all of you.
